Hi,

I brought my A-Class from MB last August at 9 months old with about 7k on the clock. It's now done just over 15,000 and the brake wear warning has come up on the screen.

This seems to be very early for the brakes to wear. I know it's not my driving style as all my other cars have always gone for ages before needing new pads.

Found a post on here where someone had their goes at 11,000 - is this normal on the A-Class?

Ours went at circa 20k - you'll find that the brake wear indicator comes in quite early. I changed them and there was actually quite a lot of meat left on them!

Automatics will always use brake pads and discs quicker than a manual too.

Find that mercedes pads due tend to wear quickly and make tons of dust...but not as noisy and seem to stop better than most so I don't mind.
