Breaking E55 possible donor engine

Saw this £1500 for the whole car without front bumper and wheels perfect for a donor conversion, break the rest of the car engine could end up owing you peanuts.

done 130k miles engine "mint" but 'box stopped working after the shunt it was a rear-ender.

I was going to say on your thread you don`t you buy a C43 instead,now I understand why you like to mod a C230k
Would not insurance still cost if you put an E55 engine?!!

Not too bad, my insurance company would just classify it as 4.0 plus and cost me about an extra £1000, but if i own a C43 its £11,000 to insure

Just cant ever go to those lengths.

We would have to run stand alone management and that would be £2k at least.

Plus the AMG diff, prop, brakes, drive shafts.

The ABS and TC system would be a nightmare too, borderline impossibe.

Save up for a 43.... or wait until you are 21+
