Been looking for a nice facelift C63 AMG for around 3 months now...

My preferred Spec was,

Perf pck, lsd, 19" wheels. Don't mind saloon or coupe...

Seen a few nice examples but unfortunately they sold before I could get to them.

As of late I haven't seen many nice examples and I'm becoming quite impatient. I've considered buying a stock 63 and getting a euro charged remap and quaife fitted but even finding a nice stock car with decent miles for good price is difficult.

I've recently been considering going for a 507 edition car but 55K+ is strong money ESP for a car that's basicslly a perf pck car with a few added goodies. Saying that I think they should hold their value quite well as there's so few. Problem is there's none with lsd fitted.

I've recently seen a nice 2012/62" grey coupe with perf pck, 19" wheels, carbon interior and advertised as 24K with one owner from new. Problem is, it's most recent service at MB has a recorded milage of 33,000 miles. The seller claims this is an error and milage was recorded in kph but put in Serv sheet as mph which I find hard to believe... He's going to get a letter from mb to confirm this but I'm still sceptical... To make things worse the person who's selling the car isn't the owner and says he's doing it for a friend as he cant be bothered with the hassle :-/

Should I hold out longer for a car with perf pck or just pay a premuim and get a 507 edition and hope they hold value well?

Also seen a 2013/13" red saloon, perf pck, 19" wheels, 18K and 2 owners. Car has a good 4-5 small scratches on bodywork from pics been sent to me. Due serv B, 2 curbed wheels and pulling to left.

Owner has mercedes Minor bodywork damage insurance in which merc come out and repair any dents and scratches for u. Seems to be a smart repair from what ive seen where they basically sand paint down and paint it on your driveway for example. Don't like the idea of a relatively new car being painted and I'm sceptical about the paint finish. Has anyone used this merc repair insurance? Here's a link,

My advice is whatever you choose don't consider a car that's not perfect in every respect and the general opinion is that being more exclusive the 507 should hold value (at the moment they seem not to be dropping but increasing as they sell up).

I deliberately specced my car without a LSD. Aftermarket diffs such as Quaife are apparently superior and can be easily retro fitted for similar money so don't get too hung up about the diff.
