1999. 220 cdi is 125 PS placed in W 202
2000. 220 cdi is 143 PS placed in W 203



2007. 220 cdi must be a real beast with all its power, too much of the power for the roads in my country.

I dont know if those pollution figures are accurate. I think the particulate and fuel consumption was higher before. I dont know where the figures come from but I will assume it to be accurate till I find another source.

Just had a dig around and the older was 46.7 MPG and the newer 47.9.

If you option for the sport alloy wheels the pollution goes up to 160g/km according to MB UK

Time in brackets is for the auto version...cGi stands for Gasoline instead of cDi for Diesel.

CGI is a very high pressure petrol engine. Compressed gasoline injection.
