C Class seat belt problem

Hi all,

Im sure some members will take offence to this post,but here goes.

My very recently purchased c class c220 cdi amg sport 2012 is to be used as my replacement Taxi.

The problem is the front seat passenger seat belt stalk is far to short making it difficult for passengers to fasten the seat belt.Is there a modification or perhaps a stalk from a different model which is a bit longer that may be suitable.

Again, sorry if any members take offence of my using this car as a Taxi,

I just love Mercs.

I dont know if other models have longer stalks, but if you Google 'Seat Belt Stalk Extender" you'll find there are quite a few stalk extensions about, e.g.:

Etc.

Though I obvouisly can't comment if they are safe to use or whether your insurer will need to be notified.

And you will need to find one that is listed as suitable for you model.
