C124 Brabus Q3C

This parks up in Berkeley Square (Mayfair) on a regular basis.
Wondered if any of you were familiar with this seemingly rare beast?

The bodykit is definitely Brabus, and it has a lovely black leather interior with white piping.

Interesting. Having recently bought a 1990 300E saloon, my memory started working. I recalled taking a photo of a Q3C in the car park at the 1990 NEC Motorshow. It's the car pictured and was outside one of the exhibition halls as opposed to the public car park. Then, it had black wheels with polished rims, the exhausts were exactly as in the latest photos and the Q3C badge was silver, the others being grey. Nice to see it's still going 21 years later!

IIRC the Brabus designations of the time were Q* ..... depending on what state of tune / engine size it was .

That badge looks a bit home-made though ...

Fact. The Q1,etc etc was 1980's badging. I am not sure if that badge is real either! Could be, Brabus was a MUCH smaller firm then

Q-Car!

Hi N/B. Really suprised to see my car being discused. Nevertheless the photoes are very nice and you did justice to the car- I own the Brabus Q3C. It is indeed a rare beast. They made 3 cars. Only Two remain. My car is 001. The other car 003 is in Sussex.
Brabus used Q3C firstly that it was a Q car and secondly it was the 300 Coupe. There is a badge inside the car by the gearbox which states the car was made for Portman Lambo -001.
Fantastic car to own and to drive knowing that you will never come across another one in London or elsewhere. I get a lot of very nice comments on the car and also a lot of people wanting to buy the car. I will not sell but am seriously considering sending the car back to Brabus for their new department which restores old classics they have made. I had called Brabus and I am sure other owners too, to let them know that many loyal customers loved their classic cars and not the New ones as there is defintely value in owning and driving a classic car. I use the car regularily and its better for it rather than letting the car sit in a garage to gather dust.

I have spend untold amounts on getting the car just right. Now I think my next move is to send the car to have a full restoration by Brabus.

How interesting! And so good you are on teh forum to share your experience!

Could you post an engine pic!?

I note the badge is genuine
