I have a C180 W202 1998 Manual with a strange problem I need help with. When the engine is cold (i.e. first thing in the morning), With the clutch depressed, there is a lot of vibration coming through the clutch pedal. Once the engine has warmed it, it is ok....Any help will be appreciated. Thanks, Paul.

Stab in the dark I know but check your engine mountings for tightness. May just be one lose and vibrating untill the engine is warm and everything has expanded.

Hi, Sounds like it could be either release bearing or g'box input shaft bearing. Both cheap, but expensive to get to - box needs to be out of the car.

Does the vibe start as soon as you take up the slack on the pedal? If so then my money is on release bearing. If you use up a lot of pedal travel before you feel it then I would suspect the input shaft bearing.
