Riight folks.. need some help here if anyone can..
Got a c180k sports coupe on a 53 plate..
Backbox had seen better days so went to local garage and had a "cat back" powerflow system made from stainless steel.
Now i've had a look tonight and have to question their "CAT BACK"
Does anyone know if theres a middle box in this system just before the backbox?
Reason i ask is because at the moment it they are saying the system has THREE cats!!
Im saying where they've gone to is indeed a middle box and not a third cat at all?? - i may be wrong
I can see that there is deffinately a pre-cat on the downpipe.. followed by a sensor then another large box in centre of the exhaust which im told is the cat.... .. then this smaller box.. which they tell me is a THIRD cat?
anyone got any diagrams etc? so i can go back to them?
Ive since been to 3 other garages and asked if its a cat or a middle box.. and they cant answer the question either!!
have managed to get a merc part number of 2034910001 from off this mystery box. if that helps ?
