c200K 03 plate headlight washers

All, picking up a 03 plate c200K sports coupe this week. During my test drive i noticed that the car is fitted with headlight washers, cool.

I checked parkers for the standard/optional specs of this car and it looked like the headlight washers option is only available as part of a pack that includes Xeon lights. Just wondering if this is the case or if you could also get the washers without the Xeon's as an option.

Don't suppose it matters either way i found out on Wednesday anyway!

I was just wondering, it would be a nice little unexpected bonus if the Xeons were included

I recently bought my '53' plate C320 and that also came with headlight washers and Xenon main beam only! I think they were part of the 'SE' spec models MB were obviously knocking out just prior to launching the face-lifted model.

I don't know whether the washers could be ordered as a standalone option on non-SE pack models. I don't even know when the SE pack was introduced

The down side is that they are not Bi-Xenons (i.e. dipped and main) and do not have the clear lens introduced on the face-lift models. But something is better than nothing . They work for me anyway

You can get headlamp washers without Xenons, you can tell if you've got Xenons by the way they start up and self-level plus the instantaneous brightness, not to mention the distinctive colour!

I've got headlamp washers with my standard halogen lights...

thanks fellas,

its a c200K sport coupe with either the Evo pack (including the big sunroof) or a straight SE with the big sunroof, not really sure which, to be honest i'm still not sure what all the different models are.

My insurance says its an SE model based on the number plate but then standard SE's don't come with the panoramic roof (do they)...... you could go round and round in circles with this!!!!!

I guess i'll just find out when i pick it up, or at least later that night!
