C220CDI W203 wing mirror indicator

Hi does anyone know how to change the wing mirror indicator, i have tried to remove the mirror and the electric mirror housing, but still cannot access the indicator, i have a new indicator but can't access the screws for the indicator??

any help would be great - thanks

i think you just remove the mirror glass and the screw is then visible?

You have to take the cover off, in order to change it

Has anyone taken the housing off non-elctric fold mirrors? Manually folding, and then holding the housing takes a fair bit of pressure due to high tension of the spring. Is it best to wedge the unit before attempting to find the siver clip? Any help much appreciated - Chris
