C270 CDi Passenger door not unlocking

C270CDi Estate 2002,
Any ideas,
The front passenger side door will lock on the remote but not unlock from the remote.
From the drivers seat I can pull the passenger side inner lever & door operates as it should.
All other doors ok on the remote.

I take it that it also doesn't unlock from the interior button. Probably the lock unit is duff.

Door lock 100%. Did one today.

seconded... the part is around £80 IIRC, fitting is a pain though..
