Anyone advise on engine oil and auto transmission capacity?

Also which oils to use, quite fond of semi/full syn oils

Is a transmission oil change for a amateur ? or should I get the garage

to do this ?

Engine oil is 6.5L, but it's best practice to leave it a little lower as MB diesels are so sensitive to overfiil.

The ATF is more a matter of how much you can get out - they can't be completely drained.
