Very nice mate, I loved my C32.

One of the most memorable cars I've ever owned, I'll never forget it, it was Eurocharged which made it even better!

Lovely cars, but so many problems current owners appear to have with them.
I'd save a bit more and get a far better E55K.

Think long and hard before you do!!! As said, they definitely have a shelf life! Don't get me wrong, fast as fook, BUT, bits will be falling off as you accelerate!

Mine was the best on the market condition wise, I've yet to see a clean one, they all look v tired.

Get a decent C55, allot cheaper to run, c32 is faster though.

Yep Jo's '32 was top drawer! Mines always been well looked after, but, over a decade of use will take its toll!!

Try to find one which has been well maintained and with the same owner since early in it's life, and you'll be surprised. Mine was incredibly reliable over a 10 year period. I miss it :(

More likely to find rocking horse poo though!!

Mine is not so bad. I blew the diff up and had to change the crank pulley it fell apart.. Other than that it's been great. Has annoying dash click but only lasts seconds. Had a great service history was off a member on here. It's currently my daily drive but I will be changing that soon as it's bit juicy hehe..

Mechanically all is well which is my main goal.
Some small rust nothing major I will paint it eventually.

Also I would love an e55 AMG... Maybe one day... :)

Well I have to say I had 15 months trouble-free motoring in mine and would have enjoyed more years with it had I not moved to America.
I bought it from someone who had not driven it very much and I changed the suspension bits and brakes (all consumables really).
The guy who bought it from me was very happy indeed.

There are good ones out there, just as there are bad E55's.

Currently hunting down an SLK AMG :)

I had a 65mm pulley And remap it's now 2 secs faster to 100 mph (10secs)and 5secs faster from 100 - 150mph than before. Going to santapod 26th September if anyone fancy it.

Had mine about 16mths . Mechanically all good. Has a Johnson pump, 65mm pulley & a not mad remap/tune, but it takes Off ! I love seeing M3 owners as I pass them from the lights rowing through there gears trying to make head way..Err ain't happening mate Lol. The bodywork was a bit bitty & wheels but this was factored when i bought it & then they were cheaper than today. I had 2 new front wings , bit over kill really but thought might as well, the bonnet had some stone chips too ,so I had the bonnet , both side's of the car painted & the wheels refurbed. All looks good now! I changed the oil & filter@ 4,000 miles I have only done 4.800 miles & most of them ( when warmed up) are putting it through its paces. I was not happy with the handling, still not with steering feel but hey ho. It had far to much understeer for me & I was going to change the rear ARB , before I did I had a Hunter 4 wheel alignment & wow did that make a difference, the front wheels were out a mile , so I stuck on 4 new tyres , that also helped a lot! really happy with it just now I have the 'Squeaky' rear bush problem which I'll get round to , also I replaced the G/box fluid & filter after reading about the 'Lifetime' gearbox threads here.
I love it, goes very well, unassuming, even more so as I do not have the Kompressor side badges , I asked them to leave them of, likes a drink but thats my fault...one of the best all rounders I have ever had!
Take your time, find a nice one, have one of the specialists here do a check on it & get one. One last point my Insurance on this last year was £193, £280 cheaper than my Cerbera, this year its was £190 Fully comp 7000miles! Oh & the prices are creeping up !:bannana:

0 - naughty mph after pulley and map. I am impressed but my IAT are creeping bit high may need to get a better heat exchanger.
