C350e boot space

Does anyone know if there are 350e in the UK now? I need to see if our pram will fit in the boot as the litre figures aren't helpful. I know the boot space is reduced a little compared to normal c class and is split height but there are limited photos out there and no physical dimensions.

Nope.. No UK demos at moment , I have been advised by multiple sources that the boot will be the same as the press cars... Will a believe it when I see it.

In regards to size, our Quinny fits in a normal c class boot ok.

Ok cheers for the info. Press photos I've seen show a split height and some quote boot space at only a 15l reduction to 335 over standard c class but from what I've read c class is 480l. Confused!

Quoting litres isn't ideal given theu count all the unusable space around the wheels

Regrettably, measuring by litres in this manner is a EU "Standard".

I agree that it does not reflect the truly usable space and indeed some car reviews have a "Standard" luggage set that they use to adjudge usable boot space. It may be worth checking out the reviews to see if one of these reviewers has done this for the c350e.

I agree. The boot space on the press cars shows approx a 5cm ridge in the boot floor, but the reductation of space in my head would be far greater, unless the floor is a lot higher than a standard saloon which would explain the optical trickery.

Whoops sorry.

Like yourself I'm somewhat conflicted with the details, the dealer sales information does suggest in the pictures it's quite a large difference.

But that's the saloon that's on show. I'm guessing you lose the under boot storage and it raises the boot floor by maybe just over an inch or so. The saloon picture looks like a good 6 inches higher.

For me boot space is a requirement, hence why I didn't even bother with the Volvo V60.....it's tiny!!
