C36 AMG M104 Rocker Cover/Goal Post Seals

Can you remove and refit the cover without buying new gasket

Has anyone done the timing cover goal post seals -How long does it take ?

i have removed a rocker before and yes i did refit with original rubber gasket i did rub a very fine bead of gasket sealer on it just to be sure

i wanted to clean the rocker on the c36 i had

Just fit a new gasket and plug seals. They are not exactly expensive. The front cover seal can be very fiddly. You will also need to drain the coolant and replace the water seal on the front cover.
