My C43 has started exhibiting slight sights of a steering anomaly.

Its hard to explain but sometimes on a good surface road you can feel a strange pulling to one side or the other.

The car has just passed its MoT with no mention of suspension component wear (certainly not to MoT standard) [and I trust my local MoT man]

What goes first on a W202 C43? Wishbone bushes, ball joints, track rod ends, steering damper ??

All of the above but not necessarily at the same time.;) My guess would be front suspension ball joints either top or bottom.- known weak point on the W202 model. With the wide wheels you have on the c43 it may be the car is very camber sensitive?? Alternatively you could have a problem with some worn rear suspension bushes leading to rear wheel "steering" Other possibility is with the tyre pressures? Time for a very thorough examination of all of the above.

Thanks. Will check these out. Tyre pressures are checked regularly, a habit I got into with my last car, one of which had a slightly pourous rim and went down slowly on its own, plus some local kids who went round my estate letting wheels down...

my steering really used to tramline when pressure was too high, i now put in 33 in the front and 35 in the back and it handles much better.

I too have a leaking rim on the V70, so I put in more air to make it last longer, when the pressure is too high, any bumps can throw the car off coarse, I had a 211 round the other day where the owner said that the wandered, we reduced the pressure down to 2.1 and the car drove well, this car had also been wearing the center of the tyre more than the outer edges, so it does work
