c63
hey guys I'm in a position to buy a 507 saloon but at the moment haven't seen many on the market in a white....if anyone is thinking of selling please message as I'm ready to buy one.

I gotta ask, why a 507?

Would've thought the right C63 with the right options and upgrades there's not actually that much difference, apart from the bonnet, vinyl stripes, and some stuff in the interior I though?

Obviously alloys too, and the lightweight hardware

In terms of performance of course. An extra 20hp more than the normal loaded C63 and slightly quicker to 60 Is it worth that extra money?

Map a c63 and you've got 510circa as well plenty of c63 around just get the right spec

Well the 507 was the best iteration of the C63 outside of the BS so I can understand why someone would want one - loved my old one.

You dont get the forged internals on the standard car ..

the car just looks stunning in white - me and my wife just love the look of the car and have said we would really want one as a collectors car which we plan to keep long term.

I agree. I bought a white coupe 507 In view to keeping it a very long time (had my last car 17 years). My view is that the car will be collectable but I'm not anticipating it will increase in value... hopefully hold its money a little better than non 507.

White 507 at Salisbury MB. £54k or there about. Was up there this avo.

Happy to look it over for you

True but you do on the PP

I thought you just got a re-mapped power gain using original motor ? Well either way, You still get the exclusive interior, brake upgrade, Aluminium bonnet, exclusive wheels, ......

I think it will be a collector`s too.

507 motor is PPP lump with a slight map tweek. And some cosmetics. Brakes are the same as PPP.

I think it was. Didn't get a perfect look. Give them a call.

Coupe - 64 plate with 10k miles - you can google it

I'm waiting for the right person who has a white saloon version which they plan to sell

The base M156 already has a forged crank / rods and is fine with loads more power with a supercharger. So you're not gaining much if anything, unless you are making serious power. The stock hypereutectic pistons seem to be pretty strong.

I did test drive a 507 and was going to go that way. But really, without an LSD standard and much more expensive disks, I decided to buy a base C63 and fit an LSD / Eurocharging it. A Eurocharged non-PP C63 still feels like a good step on from a 507, heavier internals or not. They all make about the same power mapped.

If the 507 had an LSD, AMG performance suspesion / gauges etc, I would probably have got one.

Which ever way you go, they are great cars, enjoy.

Hi gangnam, if you want a 507, you get a 507. I bought one as it is the special `swan song` edition of this iconic car. You are part of an exclusive club with the interior, wheels, etc..... I personally feel they will become more sought after compared to standard cars and /or PP/PPP cars, but then I am biased . I have fitted the Quaife LSD to mine, and now it is the best car I have ever had !

hi stevebgt1 yeh i know i could buy a standard one but i want something unique and something many people haven't got plus i love that amg display when driving!
