c63 AMG-some housekeeping questions

Hi there

I've had the car for a week now and am loving it

I have a few boring questions so hope it's ok to post them here.

1) Is it possible to open all windows using the remote fob? I've tried keeping the unlock button pressed but nothing happens.

2) Is there a shortcut for going from FM to MW on the radio? At the moment I have to flick the main controller down to FM, click and then scroll through the four frequencies to choose MW and click again.

A couple of my fave channels are FM and a couple are MW and so I like flicking between them.

Hi mate and welcome,

I can't help you out with the radio as I'm not sure but in order to make the windows go down you need to hold the key near the drivers door handle then press and hold the unlock button. I was under the illusion that they didn't have this feature as coming from a 3 series the range was huge. For some reason mercedes have set it up so it only works when held close to the drivers door. I can only assume so if you sit on the key in your house all your windows don't open to passers by.

Thanks Scott. I've come from a BMW as well and on hot days would open the windows from quite some distance to let it cool down by the time I got to the vehicle. Shame MB don't have the same facility, especially in this weather!

Another one please?

On the dash display I like having the speed in large numeric font.It would also be useful to see the gear ratio. Is it possible to configure it such that I get the large speed readout and gear ratio?
