C63 discounts pre/post refresh

Not sure if this or the general forum is the best place to post!

Am considering switch to Mercedes and getting a C63 estate. Currently there are big deposit contributions / discounts available for a new car. I am wondering, do MB tend to get rid of the discounts after a mid cycle refresh as is just happening for the C class? It would be a lot more expensive without them, and I am not sure how big the changes will really be.

Not sure if ordering will change to refreshed models immediately after the full announcement in Geneva, but I am trying to figure out whether waiting for the refresh make it too expensive, but wouldn’t want to order now and then find I could have got the update for not much more.

It’s generally a given that the updated model will be more expensive, with a less competitive finance campaign, but we won’t know that until it actually hits the market. The only car in the range to buck that trend recently was the facelift S Class, which had a fairly strong offer from the start.

It’s not clear yet whether the facelift 63 will be out at Geneva too, but it’ll be soon after if not. I’d put my money on it being out at the same time though

Thank you. I thought it was likely it would be worse. Trying to get a feel how much it sounds like the S class (which was pretty recent, and also mid cycle, facelift right?) wasn’t such a big price change. Whereas E class was a big change given full refresh?

The E class was a complete new model, rather than a mid-cycle refresh?

Exactly! The S Class always has big discounts, so I think that’s the main reason it started with a strong offer.

I’m sure the FL C Class will be more, but that’ll be justified in the more up to date equipment

Thank you. I guess I will wait and see what the offers look like when price list comes out. Less about the list price and more about finance deals / discounts.

Are the photos legit on the internet for the facelift C class? From what I've seen there is no update to the interior really with it still not getting the integrated double screens?

What I did notice was that the COMAND software looked updated. Would this be something you could get upgraded on the current model or would the software only support a new unit?

No update to the interior? It now has NTG5.5 like the E Class, but with digital instrument cluster. Also a whole new engine range

Yeh ignore my previous comment, I've just had another look. What I meant was the screen wasn't integrated like the other models have. Would the software be available to be updated onto the 2017 models COMAND system?

The steering wheel is also a shame. New one looks really good.
