C63 gone but not forgotten

Sorry to hear it's gone Chris....lovely car....hope you enjoy the new one and look forward to seeing it at ''our meet''.

Chris, a truly disappointing experience for you, we discussed it, I think you were patient. Glad you got a new car tat is making you happy though.
Kamal

Hey Kamal :). Has all worked out. My only regret is going anywhere near Mercedes of Portsmouth. It's a shame I couldnt get the car right but the C350 ticks the boxes:)

Hi Simon:) The new car is great but not an AMG. Was a cracking car but think you will like this one :)

Aye aye, there's a familiar name ;). Did think about it but the W204 has really grown on me and as a car for me is better than my E91 was. Is a better place to sit in and seems better built. I do want another AMG and am really keen on the A class AMG and will be waiting for it :)

Thanks for the feedback on the C63 Chris. I've test driven two of them nice car. I just could not live with the tank having a capacity of only 66L.

This weekend i parted company with my C63. Only had it 4 months, the shortest time ever for me. Changed it for a C350 CDI. Will post up some pics once the rain stops :) For those that may be interested I though I'd post up my experience.

:(

Strangely enough I did the opposite. Had a go in a C350 cdi and whilst it was good it just didnt hit the spot so I got the C63 and for a lesser cost!
Still love it.

Enjoy the new car. ;)

Could you just repeat that a bit louder, I'm sure I misheard you... ;)

Really? how does that work out then?

I'd be interested in that too as I went from a 3 yr old C63 to a 4 month old C350 and it was the C350 that was the cheaper car :dk:

That may be because 2nd hand cars can work out more expensive to lease than new/nearly new ones, because of the discount the manufacturer offers at 1st registration cushioning the depreciation for the leasing company.

A 2nd hand car has high depreciation because it is sold at the full retail price, but will still lose money when it comes to trade in.

Don't forget, £2-4k of that value will have been the dealers profit, which is unrecoverable as soon as you sign on the dotted line.
