Not to sure but I am considering moving on my C63 as I don't use it as much as I should. Only covered 2800 miles since new. It is now 6 months old and it is immaculate.

I want to get something a lot more user friendly on the amount of tax I will pay as I will be going over to a company car:(

Preferably a diesel, any suggestions ?

2800 miles is going to work out a lot per mile :(

If you like the C class then as above the C class C250Cdi Sport. If you managed to find some C63 wheels most people probably would not know you have swapped...

I should have said most normal none car folk.

Ooh and I'm blind in one eye....

I arrived to work in the older style clk the other day ( a loan car from my indy )not sure what model that makes it but around a 2001 model and people's comments were ooooh that's nice. Smart car, very posh....

Most people un like us lot that can tell single pipes. Dual pipes etc etc what engine and trim a car is, they don't give a monkeys it's what looks nice.

Maybe people that drive DIEsels.

About 75% of people haven't got a clue about cars and their engines etc John.

Good friend of mine had an RS4 that he paid £35k for and had to trade it in after a year due to him needing capital for his own business. He replaced it with an £8k W211 and got all sorts of compliments, whereas most people just thought the RS4 was an Audi that was 'a bit louder than the others' and barely recognised its 'worth', so to speak.

Hello Lee - I like both petrol and diesel and don't hang my hat on one or the other, though I can see I'm being swayed towards a V8 next time - it must be the biker in me.

Nearly the same dilemma I have just faced. I'm getting an E250 to replace my C63 to reduce running costs.

Put some e63 wheels on it no one will know the difference.

Haha yeah you're right, although the ones on the car are 19" AMG ones, not sure if they are the same as the ones on the E63
