C63 Question

Hi just had my 2013 C63 AMG delivered, noticed it sounds a little tame, compared to the videos and a friends C63.

What do I need to do to open it up a little? Do I need to change to Miltek?

Welcome to the club... And the most talked about subject on here I think the route is secondary cats gutted and resonator delete but someone more knowledgeable will be along shortly you can depend on that.
and MSL or PCS are qualified to do this for you.

Secondary cat delete and Re-map are the normal starting point

Your neighbours would favour you keep it stock... but I'm sure you'll follow the advise as given.

Cat delete or if you fancy being crazy get an IPE system with the headers and cat deleted.

Remove the secondary cats

As Lee says, secondary cat gutting and a remap, you should be looking at around 520 bhp and the noise on start up isn't that different from stock.

Once you're up to 3000+ rpm the noise is much more deep and throaty, oh and with the remap, you'll get more induction roar too, made even better with a pair of BMC filters.

Just a remap changes the exhaust completely, friend of my has a stock one and doesn't sound no where near as loud.
