C63 Remap

Its loud under load, you can hear it over everything.
Spoke to Acid from MSL he said it could be throttle body (i think thats what he said) i do want try get my car down to him really, its just getting the time do so

Was it doing this on the dyno when you had it mapped? Could be why you had such a low result.

I wasnt present at the time of the map but i instantly notised the noise after it was done

I diddnt think anything of it at first, but i mentioned it to Acid and he said thats not right

Ive also notised when i put my foot down after the map, there is a really loud whining noise. Is this normal?

Wondering if it's a blocked PCV valve. Have a look under the hood - is the oil dipstick still firmly in place? The blocked PCV valve has been known to choke a few ponies out of the M156.

That being said, with only 15k on the odometer, it's pretty unlikely.

I will look now

You shouldn't be getting any whining, but a low reading might be as Lee says, incorrect dyno process.

I've had mine at a certain reputable Essex VAG tuner (on a dyno day), and they didn't have a clue what to do with it. Firstly they couldn't work out dyno mode, then eventually when they got a good run my car was spinning up on the rollers and was trying to climb free.

My dyno graph looked like the graph on an ECG monitor, during a 98yr old girl having both an orgasm and heart attack at the same time.

Took it again to a more RWD/high performance friendly garage locally to me and seemed happy at 520hp, otherwise stock car.

Fuel can also have a lot to do with it. Are you on Super? Hopefully, but even so I've had a crap batch of Shell V-Power before which made the car feel very sluggish. I flushed it through with Momemtum 99 and it was a beast once more.

Im going take it to a recommended tuner when i get time, put my foot down the other day and the whining seems to have stopped i havent heard it since. As for the fuel i always use V - Power but yeah iv noticed a crap batch a couple of times
