C63 COUPE
Hi
Just out of interest what do people pay for there warranty's after the 3 year Mercedes Benz one runs out?

I paid just over £800 on mine with Warranty Direct. Mines a 12 plate with 22.5k miles on the clock. If you speak to warranty Direct negotiate. Original quote from them was nearly a grand.

Mine's not covered by a warranty any more, I was quoted silly amounts to cover it for the year, even then, it's basically an insurance policy you're taking out and insurers are notoriously difficult to get a payment from.

I just prefer to keep a good amount of money in the bank, to deal with any unexpected bills.

likewise here and so far no complaints about them! :thumb:

Mines runs out on the E63 in June and I'll definetly be renewing it.

I'm not taking any chances being a Biturbo but the M156 is a solid block after 2011 with the updated headbolts.

Only my brother has a V8 M3 it's got 50000 on the clock & BMW charge him £660 & he has a £250 excess. Which I don't think is too bad.
If it was a £1000 I think I would just put the money away each month just in case. I do have savings that I could use if push came to shove, but I hate going into them for repairs to a car.

No warranty for me, what will be, will be!

Not sure that there's too much bad press associated with the facelift cars. Don't see the need for warranty especially as mines remapped and the engine warranty is 'void' anyway :D

MB quoted me £1250 for a Tier 1, no excess. I would have taken it had I not sold the car.
seams a no brainier to me!
