I am envious.. .:thumb: .. I voted for Grey, it suits the C63 really well, so does black (Obsidian?). Would love to have a drive of the C63 to compare with the M3 I drove.

For the money you could also have easily got a year old M5 estate (507bhp, V10) ... :D:p;)

Pah!!!

Too slow.

My choice was to see about the M3 convertible, CLK63 Cab or this. The CLK being based on the last gen ruled that out. The M3 ruled itself out of several ways, one being £4k dearer, and the other being a BMW.

And I can't get the bike in the SALOON.

Hmmmm may be a silly question...but what's the speed limit in Guernsey? 30? 40?......so its a cruising car so you want it as bling as possible to pull ??? Gather the seagulls love Mercedes drivers....:D:D:D

Its a very silly question as I mentioned it in the first post...

No matter. its 35 max. 25 in town, 20 round schools except where its 15 and 15 along the special quiet lanes for walkers and cycles. I try to avoid them in a car anyway.

Takes 40mintues to circulate the entire island if you go the coast road.

SEAGULLS? whats them then?

And as far as pulling is concerned, I take your point, but to be blunt, the girl who likes me for my car, hasn't got much chance. so am going for the sensible estate type so they don't get hyped up about cars etc.

There are a number of flashy cars here as it is. And a decent abundance of gold diggers too.

Wasn't the limit 40 mph there? When did it change, and has it in Jersey?

May have been, but seems to have been 35 for a while. No idea about Jersey. Is that an island near here, is it?:dk:;) I thought it was a jumper:p

Grey is winning.

So why the LSD then?

And where is dieselman? I need his take on this.

:D

I drove the M3 Convertible DCT, awesome machine. There is a pre reg Silverstone II metallic/red leather car for sale in BMW Shrewsbury at £49995 (£10K off list) and it has 10 miles on the clock.

I agree ref CLK63 cab, old model now and prices will nosedive.

.

Kof splutter.

It will have to get lower than that! The Estate is signifcantly less than that to me now.........no VAT and that cack, see...... Even my spec gets it OTR at £47800. Then we haggled a bit.

They did laugh when my deposit (they wanted £3k) was my 2.6year old Skoda Fabia.......managed to round them down to a straight £40k with that as p/x. Makes you wonder how much they are making on them.

Its 3 miles to work from my apartment here in St Peter Port.

Fuel consumption
Urban (mpg) 13.4

Extra-urban (mpg) 29.7

Combined (mpg) 20.6

Think I shall walk a few days of the week then I have done my bit for the enviroment.

And its only 30p on the bus.

Will you ever get the chance to get it screaming in top gear?

No doubt I will when I take a trip abroad here and there.

Then again, maybe I should take it up and down the runway here....That might get the cobwebs blown out of it.

I'm another voter for the LSD option.
When you come to sell it I feel the LSD would be a 'must have' for buyers of this type of car.
I'm very suprised LSD is not standard.

Me too. To be brutally honest, it's pathetic that it's not standard.

You aren't pondlife, you're a troll.
Get a clue.

Anything other than black or silver. I would like the metallic beige but little Scumbag reckon's that colour is for golden oldies so I guess it will have to be that nice metallic grey.

Silver to me is just so common and it is soulless, but that is me and respect to the 35 trillion, billion owners that all like silver. They all cannot be wrong, but I am hoping Scumbag is not going to pollute the world with yet another silver mobile :D

The other good news is that the electric opening\closing tailgate is a standard feature.

Am I envious or what?

I do hope we do not have gallah's that prattle on about saving the universe.

Guernsey is just slightly biiger than a postage stamp and if this car gets the rear wheels spinning thenI am guessing it will fall of the edge of the island. Did I say I am envious?

Metallic grey
If the rear wheels get spinning, Guernsey might locate itself closer to the French mainland!;)

Thats not really an answer to the question is it.

As stated, the ESP and the right foot can control the car, so why spend upwards of £1.3k on some trickery and how I am going to see the benefit?

Troll, I like that, thanks.

3000+ troll posts I guess.....
