Cabin stinks after air con is turned off ?

Can anyone explain why the cabin of my 1997 300td Avantgarde stinks after the air con is switched its really bad

Bacteria. Filters changed recently? Or run a can of Comma through it.

It could need a regas if it's running low

before blaming the car can I ask are you in the throes of a NEW relationship with a young lady who feels she doesn't know you well enough yet for her to admit that she has dropped one and the evidence only arises when the cool breeze into your face and nostrils has ceased --- only kidding --- take it to Kwik-fit and they'll flush and recharge the aircon for £45 and if it still stinks run the bug killer aerosol thru it ----happy motoring

Run some bacteria cleaner through the system....had this on one of my cars and it stank....well to put it more accurately my other half commented that the car smelt like old mans P*ss.....nice!!
