Not sure what you're expecting, but a ceramic coating isn't going stop scratches like that, only PPF would.Advice sought on a cost effective solution to deal with this area of scratches that have recently appeared on my drivers side door. The car has a Gyeon Quartz Q2 DuraFlex coating and the advice to date is that the whole side of the car would need to be cleaned of coating and recoated after machine polish of the damaged area.
I am reaching the conclusion that I won't have any car ceramic coated in the future!!!!
I don't understand why the whole side of the car needs the coating removing, can they not machine polish just the door?
You could then have the coating reapplied, or just put some polish/wax on it yourself then?
