Can Linguatronic be updated ? W215

My 2003 CL55 has COMAND but not COMAND APS and I miss the voice activated sat nav. Is it possible to update the COMAND/Linguatronic system from the 2003 version ? I've got a 2008/2009 dx cd on the way shortly, but everything is a little antiquated compared to the APS dvd version.

Car is in to Merc shortly for a couple of warranty issues, so it would be nice to get updates etc done at the same time.

Linguatronic is a seperate option to COMAND and can be retro-fitted to provide voice control.

The only way to update is to fit the newer unit. Not sure if COMAND-APS can replace your COMAND 2 though

Thanks Pedro - PM'd Alfie. Warranty issues are a foglight with water in and a non re-setting rear view mirror and driver's mirror, i.e they stay dark instead of automatically going light again.
