Hi guys,

Trying to remove the comand unit so I can fit my revercing camera but none of the videos or instrunctions online on how too are right?

I have the trim and vents off, then unscrewed the two torx screws.... then what????
I have read "Press down tabs" what tabs??? There is none.
Also read "Pry up plastic tab just behind screws..." there is nothing behind scews!!!!

Its a 2013 C63.

HELP!!!!:wallbash: :wallbash:

Looking down on the unit you should see a couple of screws, unscrew each at least half an inch, almost but not completely removed. Tap each screw lightly on top and they should drop down fairly easily into the head unit. By then you should have worked out how the securing method works. Whilst you have the vent fascia removed make sure that you don't lose the wiring to it. It's a short lead that will easily fall inside when detached from the vent light so tape it somewhere you can see it.

Hi ya,

Thanks for that. Didnt know I had to tap the screws down.
There was no cable to my vents?

If the vents have illuminated rotary controls then there will be a wire attached which when disconnected is easily forgotten about when it comes to reassembly and as it is quite short it falls out of view so if you tape it to something you won't lose it.
