now this is just strange.. i believe it to be a 124 with a 129 fused...

dunno.. kinda looks like those midgety cars that masda made in the early 90's.. you know the one with the little overhang for the boot.. weird!!

If that has twelve cylinders that would be a very fast car indeed!

Alternative SLK??

I like it.
I seem to remember that some folk were grafting on a complete front from the 210 onto a 124 when the former 1st came out.
I deffo think some grafting has gone on here:confused:

Err. I usually like uber rare or or very nice and professional mods to mercs. But this just looks wrong to me. :-(. The lines done match to me. Everything infront of the A-pillar seem the slope differently to everything behind it.

It's just that and the wheels. Still I do have to say it looks like it's been put together nicely. I'm very impressed if this is just another rare oem merc that I've never heard of or seen.

interesting looks like the front bumper does not match w124 back bumper, i have seen clk version of the front end too, but never seen a gull wing w124 before thanks for the pictures

Boss. Mocas. How on earth are these horrid things found?

In regards to the first one. I think if the front was stock none of that after market bodge-job rubbish, and had the chrome trim all the way round (not just down the sides). Well, I think it may potentially have been a handsome brute.

Its still a pointless car unless it was meant to be a butchered attempt at an slc.

The R129/230 hybrid came from here. Some of the propositions on that page are ghastly (while others works surprisingly well), although I've no idea whether any have actually been carried out for paying customers.

There was a fad for playing mix-and-match with Land-Rover/Range Rover front ends a while back. I've seen an original-shape Discovery with a Range Rover Classic front end, and Simmonites sell MkII Range Rovers with MkIII front ends.
