Car hire question

Hey all - I'm hiring a car over the xmas period and found what seems to be a great deal:

Fiesta, £88 from 24th to 28th, no deposit, £100 excess on insurance...

To good to be true? Should I be worried? Seems like a small place, definitely not a large chain anyhow.

Last year I rented from enterprise and the price was similar, but with massive excess and £100 deposit.

not bad! Smart car hire is less i believe.. from past research.

indies seem to offer great deals, as they are not locked into the corporate overheads costs etc..

The car and price are great, its more the excess and deposit that seemed odd to me. Looks like I have stumbled on a good place then
