I've done a quick Google search, and in a couple of minutes found the following height restrictions quoted for various places in the UK (metres):

1.82, 1.90, 1.95, 2.00, 2.10, 2.15, 2.20, 2.25, 2.45

Is there's any kind of standard? It seems if you own a taller than average vehicle you'd need to stop before entering any car park and read the sign ... just in case?!

(Thinking of a VW Caravelle, which is 1.95 M high)

6'6" used to be enough to let in Range-Rovers but not Transits/CFs.
May not be enough now.....

Thinking about it, I guess there are two categories. Physical height restrictions in places like multi-story car parks, and "anti van" barriers on open-air car parks. I know the Discovery 2 often didn't fit, thanks to the 'kicked up' rear roof section. Wonder if they lowered the Disco 3 ...
