Got sent these from carpro last week to test,
Orange Peel Removal Pad - Denim (6") - www.CarPro-US.com
So borrowed a an F150 Aluminium bonnet from my bodyshop, washed it with zero grade wire wool (Need to make it a task![Smile :) :)](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png)
I then clayed the boonet and gave it a full IPA wipedown, and was left with this:
I then used this pad with megs 105 along with lots of ptg readings to see how fast it would cut. After 4-5 passes with a single hit, it pretty much knocked the entire lot out along with deep scratches. I then followed up with an LC CCS Orange pad and 205 to remove pigtailing and refined with ultrafina on a blue pad. Full Alcohol wipedown and this is what I was left.
Not bad at all:
Reflection shot after correction:
I then place the boonet againts the knackered pug (its not ours
to show you clarity difference of the corrected side to defected side.
These pads are awesume but have a correction rate twice the speed of a wool pad. But I found them never ever to heat up and very easy to use. So if your looking for something that can take some serious defects out your paint including mild orange peel, these are your friends![Smile :) :)](https://cdn.jsdelivr.net/joypixels/assets/8.0/png/unicode/64/1f642.png)
