Carrying dogs in C class estate

I don’t know the boot size of your C class estate and how big are your dogs but I’ve been using this one in L size for transport of my bulldog in E class. FoxHunter Aluminium Dog Pet Puppy Cage Kennel Travel Transport Crate Carrier BOX | eBay
Decent quality, easy to assemble from the box and light.
I was looking at those, my car doesn't have the load space of yours though. I've got Australian Cattle dogs, they are medium sized. I suppose they are cheap enough that if they aren't quite what I want it won't matter too much!

I'm using a double cage the same as MercedesDriver above. It's in the back of a Ford Ranger, not sure if it would fit in a C class estate.

I think I need a Ford Ranger :D

Beware of split tailgates. BMW X5. Range Rover etc.

Our huskies would catch their back legs on the lower gate and drag it up inside their hind legs. Not funny.
