Centre console ML 270 w163

I have just bought an ML 270cdi as a second car for winter. Its on 02 plate and is in great condition except for the central console rear portion. When you sit in the back seats the plastic is worn, the upper flip out tray doesnt open and the vents are damaged (presume little feet are to blame)

I would really appreciate some guidance on whether

a. the whole console needs changing
b. what parts are needed
c. wheres the best place to get em.

I had the same problem bought S/H on Ebay.
Was lucky only slight damage on the console so replaced the cup holder and the lid.
