I have just had to change a bulb on the dip beam in my W211, now is it me who, I admit am not the greatest DIYer in the world, or does it take a stupid amount of time to complete this simple task. I was there for around 2 hours trying to turn the bulb to take out, while in the process ripping layers of skin off myself and now having a bruise similar in size to a small island in the Caribbean :o
I am now dreading any more bulbs going and I was going to replace all the bulbs with a whiter type, not any more:doh: Unless anyone can share any info thats makes me look like an idiot but will make the job easier?

Same here.

Maybe not 2 hours but had to do the front headlights on the S class 3 times recently, pain in the harris.

Brake lights on the Mrs SLK tricky too with big hands, no room a all.

You can get hold of the bulb holder quite easily, but then cant turn your hand to unlock it:mad:

I changed my sidelight bulbs and indicators yesterday - had no problem, changed all in about 4 minutes. Sounds stupid, but you just need to make sure you're twisting the right way - the first one took me about 2 minutes, but once i'd done one, the others were plain sailing. Maybe i've got small hands?!
