changing fog bulbs on w203 coupe

Hi, Are there any links or info on the forum on changing the fog bulbs on a w203 coupe, as i have searched, but not come across anything.. thanks..

On the W203 saloon, it involves jacking up the car at the front and then reaching from under the car behind the front bumper, but you need flexible hands... I think that officially you are supposed to actually remove the front bumper(?), but in reality it's doable from underneath.

Hi, thanks for the reply! i have the bulbs already just needed to know how to change them as the manual says nothing...

The manual says nothing because 'officially' it's a garage job - i.e. not DIY.

They could have made it a bit easier! i have changed all the other bulbs inc putting nice white led bulbs inside the car that makes it look much nicer than the yellow looking bulbs! the main lights are now Osram night breaker plus, i will have a go @ changing the fog bulbs at the weekend. thanks again. Oh the number plate led bulbs look nice when changed also..

Hope the following is of use to you. Extract from a well known workshop manual.
Sorry about the picture quality, it's not very clear in the book.

Seems that you have to also remove the under wing splash guard to access it.

Get the catflap open if it has one, then stick a little digicam in there on macro and spot focus.

Mine, different but you get the idea. You really cannot see what you are doing.
