Hi,

I have a slightly nurdy request :D

I have a very early W124....registered on 18th October 1985 which is less than a month from when the W124's went on sale here in the UK.

Is there any way I can check to see what the build date is on my car and how can I find out what serial numbers the W124's started off with here in the UK so that I can determine how early into RHD production my car was built.

Any other owners of old "C" Reg W124's out there....if so whats your VIN No?

Cheers

Vlad

Your datacard has the build date. See your dealer for a printout

I have no data card in my Maintenance Booklet.

When you say "see dealer for printout", are you saying that they can provide all of the info I need?

The data card is something that can be pulled off the EPC by your stealership, usually the parts dept is the place to ask. They might try to deny it but they can usually get this information in seconds without any effort at all!
