Hexagon are having a Christmas open day at their East Finchley showroom this coming Saturday, which may be of interest to some, as may be the free mince pies!

I'll probaby be there from around midday, but would be open to meeting beforehand for a group visit if others were interested?

I used to live round the corner from Hexagon Classics in South Ken, but only recently found out about Hexagon Modern. A friend had been chuntering about buying a 911 so spoke to them and arranged a test drive. He rang me in semi-amazement to say he'd been out on a test run, the salesman was a biker like him so he spent all the time talking fast bikes. When he got out to do the deal the salesman said while he'd love to sell him the car, he hadn't talked about it at all, so his heart wasn't in it and would be a waste to buy it! At which point my friend realised he was entirely right, and he didn't want a 911.

That is a rare salesman.

Rare indeed. They don't seem to have suffered from it either, although I may be confusing market presence for advertising presence.
