CKS Grill - Quality?

Hi all,

I like the look of this single slat grill from CKS,

Has anybody bought one or seen one in the flesh? I'm wondering what the quality is like?

Not really quality will be ok as most stuff is made there but will never be good as oem.

Is there an OEM version? I haven't seen them, even the AMG 55's & 63's don't have a single slat grill. The only other place I've seen a similar grill is 55 Tech, but the photo's look identical.

Hence my question if anybody has seen one up close.

Ah, yes. Made in Hong Kong (and it was British then!!)

It's that long ago I bought my children toys!

What does the panel think of this version, I like the solid back behind the star.

Apparently there are two versions/manufacturers of the the single slat grille. The one you posted and one with a distronic style star.

I think this style is the one with the gap between the top and the bonnet, unlike the "distronic" style single slat grille.

Yep, I found one of those on Ebay Germany yesterday, I think it looks better than the CKS Grill.

Did you get the one with the flat distronic style star?
