I’ve just looked in my own CL owner’s manual but it doesn’t list everything in there, very strange, but the following data below is from a USA spec of the CL500 at the back of the manual under “Technical Data”. I really can’t see there being any difference to be honest. What year is your car, the only thing that I can see that may be different would be the transmission fill capacities for the 5 and 7 speeds, everything else is the same. The power steering fluid is exactly the same as the ABC suspension system anyway, which is Pentosin CHF 11S or MB A 001 909 24 03 10
Engine Oil and Filter - 8.0 Litres
Automatic Transmission - 8.6 Litres
Rear Axle - 1.6 Litres
ABC System - 4.0 Litres
Power Steering - 1.0 Litre
Braking System - 0.7 Litres
Cooling System - 11 .5 Litres
Have you not got an owners manual of your own, if not, then click on the link below and choose which manual/year you want from the drop down menu and download it to your own PC.
Thanks dash1, I have an owners manual but it lists very little my a 2002, with 5 speed gbox , bought 2 litres just in case , the MB one, not cheap at £16 a litre so I have some spare ..... Cheeky garage thought they might keep it after doing the job of replacing some of the high pressure pipes, they looked hurt when I asked for the fluid that was left lol:bannana:
