Classic Car Insurance for a C43 AMG

As my C43 is over 15 years old now I was thinking of doing classic insurance for it. I do around 2000 miles a year in it but would really need cover to drive any car with owners permission.
Also agreed value is needed as twice last year my car was reversed into by a third party and it was touch and go to get the repairs done without the car being written off, due to the low book value on these cars now.

Any advise or personal experiences on this please

I tried Flux earlier in the year to no avail on mine , now use it as my main car so now have a normal policy.
On the 911 I use Henderson Taylor who give an agreed value plus 5 uk trackdays thrown in , have also used Hagerty and iirc I had the C43 with rhclassic at some point..

Give Peter Best a call. Usually you can get classic on MBs 5 years and older with them but unsure about your C43 due to all the modifications - you might need a more mainstream policy?

Otherwise PB cover my CLK for around a couple of hundred a year FC - much cheaper than a regular policy

If it's your only car then I think you'd struggle to get a sensible classic policy. Try Heritage by Norton, they do all mine.

i have always used lancaster classic insurance,great rates i pay £130.00 per year for my 190e and have insured e36 m3's etc. which are of similar age to your c43
