Hi guys,

My c63 has stood for around 12 weeks and the discs have gone very rusty. Iv took it out on a run and have done some braking but they are still rusty and weren't clean like before.

What can I use to clean em up? With the wheels still on!

Thanks James

Nothing I know of. Take it for another run and do some more braking; the rust WILL come off, believe me.

The brakes feel fine braking from 70/80 down to 40/50 fast. But around 100+ then brake, a little vibration weird feeling happens it's hard to explain. I can feel the pads on the discs through the pedal kind of?

Will they ease off soon?

Drive to the end of the road and back, your discs will be clean again.

You need to hammer those brakes, 100-0mph several times will sort it.

I had the same issue in my RX8 when I didn't drive it for a while (the funny vibration, like disc warp). As said, just get them screaming hot, 80>50 is nothing, a couple of hard stops and they'll clean up.
