My daughter's 51 plate CLK cabrio has just developed the following faults:-
:dk:
Drivers seat will not adjust
Drivers window will not work under any variable options (ie doesn't go down when operating the roof nor with the remote)
Drivers mirror will not adjust (but folds OK)

Passenger side controls working as normal.

Checked all the fuses and they appear to be OK

Any easy answers or is it a trip to the diagnostics?

Many thanks for ideas.

It will probably be a power supply issue to the door control module or the module itself. Check the voltage supply first to the module. The door panel has to be removed to gain access.

Had a feeling it wasn't going to be simple.

Many thanks for the info.

It is simple. The power to the module is easily checked. Check the continuity of the earth too (normaly a big brown wire) and the 12V one is normally red and thicker than the rest.

Firstly make sure you check all the fuses again.

Solved.

Turned out to be an intermittent bad fuse connection.

Had the board removed and relaced the connection in the board.

A lot cheaper than a module !!!

Thanks for your input.:)
