Clk 230 irratic tick over

Rich what was the remap and power boost you have on your w208 ? Has it made a difference to your performance ? Interested after I get this fault fixed ........

Well I could rule out rocker cover breather and plugs. Just had two error codes showing two separate miss fires but running ok now. Then drove about 35 miles and low and behold its feckin back. Turned of ignition and back on its gone. No faults on ecu and still does it when I got home. It's like the revs dip below 800 or so then it compensates and pops above 1000 back and forth which sucks. If you sit at a junction and the car lurches forward even when I have the breaks on. It's a bit scary reversing in a space also, this is as intermittent as it gets. Still no fault found not giving in because I actually still love the car. Any other ideas ?.

I would still check the breathers as what you describe above is exactly how mine was.

Large but LOUD horn BTW lol

maybe a remap will fix it ;) its possible with the ECU over compensating? i reckon its a valid excuse to get one haha.

The two together compliment each other very nicely, it was done by a company called Angel Tuning and they have ex master tech's there who specialise in doing the mercs they get, certainly a much better experience than some previous clowns on my previous 208. the Sprintboost is the one for the 208 230k engine theres only one type of proper spintboost so whenever you hear people on here talk about them it will be that.. the sprint boost and the remap together really do make a huge difference, i have a pipercross panel air filter and a powerflow exhaust, its not missed a beat yet.. fingers crossed! the sprint also makes the gearbox more aggressive which is welcomed and makes for one hell of a hoot driving experience.. it flies now.. from the 0-60 timings ive done with stopwatch, sitting back and planting it it seems to be around the 6sec mark now, on paper it would suggest its running over 240bhp but ive not had it dyno'd i wouild suggest its below that but is much slicker and smoother to drive now with very few flat spots if any.
