Hi. Does any body know if it's possible to manually move an electric seat that won't work any more. I've tried wacking it! Had problems in the past, changed the SAM unit and the driver's door module, and normally if it won't work on the door control it will still move back and forwards using the back rest lever, but now it seems to have stopped altogether. It's the wifes car but I like to drive it now and again but she is 5' 3 1/4" and I'm 6' and cannot possibly access the driving position unless I drive with one leg outside the car and the door ajar. If I could just compromise and get it back halfway I could buy her a large cushion and platform shoes so she can still use it. Anybody got any ideas on how to rectify the problem please?
