hi have clk 240 2004, with the 6 cd changer and the becker audio 10 headunit i was just asking what does formats does the cd changer supports,

i've read that it read mp3 but it im not sure of the biterate and other formats

also what is the best way of burning to cd

any information would be useful thanks

Well that's an unorthodox spelling of unorthodox, were you trying to be unorthodox ? :D

Anyhoo - not sure on MP3 compatibility but most Merc systems are 10 years behind other semi-premium makers so you may want to stick to 650Mb discs rather than 700Mb ones just to play safe.

thanks for the info i will try an cd sometime this week and post the results of the best way to do it

Most MP3 capable players play all the MP3 standards so the best bet is to burn some MP3 tracks to a CD (windows based PC's can do this without other software) and see if it plays them or not.
