Hi, I'm a newbie looking for some help from you guys. I did a forum search that turns up some answers but still a bit confused hence the new post.
I understand the CLK 280 and 350 Sport come as 7G-tronic automatic as standard. But my confusion lies with the steering wheel gear shift buttons and the gear shift paddles. Which model has the buttons and which has the paddles? Can one choose either the buttons or the paddles? Did the paddles come on the later reg's and the buttons on the earlier?
I've seen a 350 Sport with buttons and not paddles, when I previously though it could only come with buttons. It was a 55 plate.
Basically I want a CLK 350 sport with paddle shift but have been left confused by seeing one with buttons! Finally, which is better or what is the difference, I read the buttons allow you to change up AND down with each button but each paddle is up OR down.
Hope you guys can help un-confuse me. Ta
