the same as if they hadn't - Like so many of the Designo interiors we all moan about it looks horrible

I think its quite nice...Having something different is always better than the same old I think............

I suspect the interior is much darker in real life and its the flash thats made it look pink.
In which case, I rather like it. Its a distinctive colour that sets it apart from 99% of cars that are either grey or the higher end cars that are cream.

Had to happen eventually I suppose and sods law it was going to involve poor Howard the pioneer and champion of the MBClub ebay thread!
I saw it in Howard's sig first which I don't know if has influenced me, but my first impressions are it's bold, not sure I would be brave enough to go for it myself but actually quite like it. Not like the birghter red interiors you see on some Audi S8s etc. I think it's still a like it as someone else's car rather than my own type way though.
The exterior does look lovelly as does the interior condition. Did you say you have some AMG wheels to go on? Get some pics up ASAP!

I've just chucked the AMG's on it .... but it's dark , i'll get some piccys tomorrow and get some nice ones of the interior sans flash ...
The interior is actually a mid burgundy , and matches the bodywork pretty much exactly ...

Car looks great, i'm a fan of burgundy!
I've dealt with Baker Brothers in the past, very nice chaps. The only thing i would be tempted to do is put a black steering wheel on it, or alternatively a half wood/leather one.
Actually thinking about it i think Simal (aka$h) has one in red/half wood for the CLK. Not sure if its normal or black wood...

I thought about a black wheel as well, but the top of the dash is red so may look odd as well.

Took the word right out of my mouth! The only thing that stands out in the interior is the steering wheel. Mercedes should have colour coded it to mathc the black and red of the rest of the car.
I think that the rim of the wheel needs retrimming in black leather to match the rest. However I guess it will look completley differend in the flesh....
