clk 55 amg 208 vibration

Got a strange vibration at 40mph, dont think its wheel balance or bearings etc. Strangely enough it always seems worse when starting off from cold and is not so pronounced when car is warmed up. Has any one experienced similar, or have any ideas?

Don't these engines have known issues with the harmonic balancer on the crank pulley?

Might be worth a look to see if it's wobbling/breaking up? As well as checking the obvious - mounts, prop couplings etc.
